Our Labour Union
The longevity of our operations comes from the longstanding relationship with our skilled employees. We keep a transparent line of communication with our labour union which is vital in understanding the needs of our employees as well as receiving constructive feedback on how to improve the company. Each production division appoints a representative who may voice any concerns within their division to the Secretary of the labour union — a position that is also democratically elected by the workers and comes with a 5-year tenure — before entering discussions with the management team of Danliris.
As a company that views its workers as part of a large family, we fulfil all necessary government regulations regarding the Labour Law. This means we participate in the government’s social welfare programmes, allocate the minimum wage — we also pay for overtime — and provide religious bonuses (THR); in addition, we equip our factories with lactation rooms for nursing mothers. Other facilities we provide include the medical centre, counselling centre, shuttle bus service and scholarship programmes. Furthermore, as a company that is eager to see our employees develop, we established a training centre through which our workers can gain new skills in textile and garment production.
By implementing a regular and open communication system between our workforce and the management team, we continue to develop proactive policies that improve the welfare of our workforce and which in turn, has resulted in greater efficiency in our business operations.
As Danliris continues to expand in terms of our service ranges and client portfolio, we work closely with our labour union to help set the international standards that our company is recognised for. By implementing a regular and open communication system between our workforce and the management team, we continue to develop proactive policies that improve the welfare of our workforce and which in turn, has resulted in greater efficiency in our business operations.
