On the 4th August 2022, Dan Liris treated 14 pairs of employees and their children to a visit to the Asian Paralympic Games in Surakarta, Central Java. Each of the families selected has a child with a form of special needs including hearing disabilities, intellectual handicaps, learning disabilities and vision impairment. The visit to the ASEAN Para Games serves as a form of inspiration to these children and their families through being able to see firsthand the limitless capabilities of Paralympic athletes who have refused to be held back by their disabilities.
The employees and their families got the opportunity to see 3 different matches at the games, namely an athletics tournament at Manahan Stadium in Solo, a basketball match at Sritex Arena, Surakarta and a badminton match at UMS Sukoharjo Edutorium.
Through this visit, Dan Liris continues an established tradition of bringing employees and their children with disabilities to the ASEAN Paralympic Games which is among other efforts conducted by the company to support the education and ongoing development of disabled children who are part of the Dan Liris family.
